Garvan de Bruir’s work has been receiving acclaim both at home and abroad for many years. 

Most noteworthy is his desire to fill the traditional architect/designer /craftsman role of working across many scales and disciplines while maintaining a very definite visual style. The same design principle of achieving ‘Strength through Shape’ lies behind the design of his Singleform Stool in Contemporary Furniture as do in his Curving Pavilion design in Architecture. 

 A keen understanding of materials charactaristics along with innovative craftmanship has allowed Garvan to generate the strong yet sculptural shapes that have become a trademark of his work.
